Classroom
Rules and Procedures
Rules: Non-Negotiables:
-
Be on task 1. E2020 is a silent
class; you should not be talking to your neighbors.
-
Be respectful 2. Taking notes
during lectures is STRONGLY encouraged.
-
Follow directions 3. You should
only be accessing the e2020 site. Utilizing social
networking sites, games, youtube,
etc. is a direct violation of your AUP!
Procedures:
-
Entering the Room:
Move quickly to your assigned
computer, log in, check your Virtual Classroom Lobby for email and
announcements, and start your next activity.
-
Logging Off:
In order for your lectures and
assignments to save your spot, you must click the Exit and Save button and then
go to the Lobby and LOG OFF. If you don't, your idle time will start building up
and e2020 will not save your work on your current activity. LOG OFF every time
you leave e2020.
-
Lectures:
Have your headphones on, pay
attention to the lecture, and TAKE NOTES.
-
Quizzes and Tests:
You may raise your hand for
me to check your work BEFORE you submit an assessment.
-
Failing Quizzes and Tests:
Some or all of your activities in
that lesson or topic may be reset after failing an assessment. So use notes,
study, and pass. In order to have a quiz or test reset you must provide adequate
notes in the enotes section of the lecture or on paper.
- Students are responsible for
their own work
. Any
cheating will not be tolerated and will be dealt with following the Whitmore
Lake High School handbook.
-
Idle Time:
e2020 keeps track of idle time and
provides a detailed report of what you are doing every minute you are on or off
the program. You will be held accountable for your time, so use it wisely.
