Reading/Writing - We use flexible, fluid groups based on reading levels.  We have a balanced literacy program and incorporate all MLPP assessments.

Mathematics - We use flexible, fluid groups based on baseline assessments and in-class performance.  Students in the 1st and 2nd grades do not use a daily textbook, but instead focus on the use of manipulatives. Students in the 3rd and 4th grade use a combination of the Trailblazers text and the Scott Foresman/Addison Wesley materials.  This, along with technology integration, allows for a balanced mathematics program.

Spelling - We use flexible, fluid groups based on a standard orthography test as well as in-class performance.  Students use the research-based RIGGS phonogram program to aide them in their balanced literacy program.

Science/Social Studies - Students are placed in multiage groups with 1st-4th graders.  Students are never without a buddy to help them through these technology-infused disciplines.
