In the MAC program, children in grades one and two are lovingly
called "Little MACs," while children in grades three and four
are lovingly called "Big MACs." Much like a big brother
or sister and a little brother or sister, our program is like a family
environment. Besides the pseudo-siblingships, we have real
siblings in the program as well.
During one of the first MAC meetings of the year we have every
student stand up who currently has a sibling in the program. They
remain standing and we ask every student who has EVER had a sibling go
through the MAC program to stand up. At this point, a large
percentage of the students are standing.
