Ms. McKeeman 

Julie McKeeman started her teaching career at Whitmore Lake Elementary as a student teacher for Mrs. Meade and Ms. Striz in the MAC program.  During that time, she was acknowledged as one of the top 19 student teachers in the state.  She has taught in both a traditional and multi-age classroom.  She is in the process of finishing up her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  Julie enjoys reading, crossword puzzles, and anything to do with making crafts.  If you would like to email Ms. McKeeman, just click here.

Mrs. Meade 

Mary Jo Meade is one of the 3rd/4th grade MAC teachers. She has been teaching for 30 years.  She has taught preschool through 4th grade.  Mary Jo was one of the original creators of the Whitmore Lake MAC program.  She is married and has 3 children and 2 grand children.  she enjoys teaching and has a special love for all of her students, past and present.  Mary Jo is easy to get along with, has a great sense of humor and is good looking too!  If you would like to email Mrs. Meade, just click here.

Mr. Northrop 

David Northrop earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1977.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude and decided to continue his education at EMU and finished his Master's there in 1981.  Dave enjoys reading, gardening, movies, theater, and music.  He is married, the father of three and the grandpa of four.  If you would like to email Mr. Northrop, just click here.

Ms. Striz 

Susan Striz has been a teacher for Whitmore Lake Public Schools for over 22 years.  She has taught traditional first and second grades.  Susan started the MAC program at WLES with Mary Jo Meade and David Northrop over 10 years ago.  She also developed the at-risk pre-school program for the school.  Susan enjoys reading, traveling and being out in the sunshine.  If you would like to email Ms. Striz, just click here.
